Team Indigo GGITS is a Students’ Technical Club under the Gyan Ganga Group and the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology. Various technical, as well as non-technical activities, are been conducted by the club. Also, periodic workshops and seminars based on trending technologies are conducted. Club teams also participate in Hackathons and various other competitions.
The event “Shaping Your B.Tech & Spandan”, which comprised of two educational &
motivational sessions for two different student groups was hosted by the Department
of Computer Science and Information Technology and was organized by Team Indigo GGITS. The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Aman Dhattarwal who is
a popular personality among the Indian youth. Dated 22nd February 2020, the 1
st
seminar for high school students was attended by more than 100 students and the 2
nd
seminar for college students was attended by more than 500 undergrads. Also, we observed
the gracious presence of Honorable Directors of the Gyan Ganga Group, Respected
Principals of GGITS and GGCT and Respected Head of Departments. Completely
organized and managed by the students of the first year, the event was a grand success
and the seminars proved to be very beneficial and helpful for the students.
Speaker Highlights...
Aman
Dhattarwal is the founder of Apni Kaksha, which is an online platform for
learning Computer Sciences and Programming. He is the coordinator for Jaipur
Foot USA and a Star Educator for IIT-JEE at Unacademy. Aman Dhattarwal is a
B.Tech. graduate from NSUT Delhi in Information Technology. He is an alumni of
Delhi Public School R.K. Puram.
He is an immensely popular
educator, a youth icon and a career counselor, very famous and known
personality among JEE aspirants, high-school students and mainly college
students. He has been a guest speaker for multiple Universities and Colleges
such as IIT-Ropar, Thapar University, Delhi Technical University, Amity
University Noida, IGDTUW and now Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and
Sciences Jabalpur also.
He owns and runs four YouTube channels, having a large number of subscribers and viewership from last
5 years :

3. Apna College - 405k subscribers
4. Hustlers Bay - 220k subscribers
He also has 311k followers
on Instagram and 42k followers on Twitter.
Aman Dhattarwal is an Influencer, Motivational Speaker and Counselor and
has 120k followers on India’s largest online learning platform- Unacademy.
1st Session: SPANDAN
For High-School Students
This session focussed on the students of Class 11th and 12th from PCM stream. The seminar was an interactive and comprehensive session on awareness, information, guidance and motivation for Engineering and Medical entrance exams like IIT-JEE and NEET, Class 12th Board exams preparation, How to prepare for your dream job, Career Counselling along with vital discussions on various broader dimensions other than academics. The students actively took part in the seminar and interacted with the speaker. Students from various schools and coaching institutes across the city joined the session. The mode of event promotion by the organizing team was through social media flyers and by visiting these institutions and interacting with the students.

⭐ This was Aman Dhattarwal’s first-ever seminar across India which particularly focussed on high-school students for IIT-JEE & 12th Boards preparation.
2nd Session: Shaping Your B.tech
For College Students
This session focussed on the B.Tech undergrads of GGITS and GGCT. The excitement and enthusiasm among the audience for the speaker Mr. Aman Dhattarwal was huge. More than 500 students gathered for the seminar to watch the YouTube star live in their campus. The core agendas of the session were – How to shape your B.tech into a very productive and result in the oriented course, Preparation for placements, How to prepare and apply for an off-campus drive and Vital information and guidance about the Tech and IT world especially for 1st and 2nd-year students. The audience showed full enthusiasm and cheerfullness during the seminar. Also, the speaker highlighted topics such as Start-up sector, upcoming technologies etc. The session was an interactive one. Some students stood up and expressed their start-up ideas. Also, students were called upon the stage by the speaker to express their special skills. Students really enjoyed the session and gained a lot of knowledge from it. The session was also joined by Honorable Group Directors and Respected Principals. The dignitaries awarded the speaker a token of remembrance towards the end of the seminar. Organising team also gave several gifts to the speaker. At last, the students were very much excited to take photos with Mr. Aman Dhattarwal and the love in the students for the speaker was commendable. The mode of event promotion was through Social Media messages, Billboards and flyers and by visiting different classes in the college campus. We got more than 1000 registrations for the event.

⭐ This was the first time in the history of Gyan Ganga when a major event was fully organized and managed by the students of the first year!!
Event Highlights...
Group Director Dr. Manish Choubey addressed the students in the seminar. His
words very well reflect the knowledge and experience he attains. Also, he was
excited to hear from the young speaker. He motivated all the students to always have a learning attitude. As always, his speech filled the students with enthusiasm. We were blessed
by his gracious presence and words of wisdom in the event.
Mr. Aman Dhattarwal, in the college seminar, emphasised more on topics such as
startups, MSMEs sector, entrepreneurship and related sectors. This brought more
interest among the students and they openly interacted, putting up their startup
ideas. His Computer Science & IT knowledge was noted down by many students as they learnt about
this ever-growing technology world. Also, he discussed about the trending gaming and e-sports sector through
which, hundreds of youngsters are earning by pursuing their passion. He
encouraged the students to venture into such sectors.
Fandom – Towards the end of both the seminars, students in huge numbers took
photos with the YouTube star. In the college seminar, on the given opportunity by the
speaker, some students stood up and shared their experience in learning Computer
Science and IT. Also, at the end, on the request of the audience, the speaker did a motivational rap which was written by himself and this was the catchy moment in the event.
Dr. Ritu Ahluwalia greatly contributed in this event. Through her guidance and
monitoring, the event proceeded smoothly and correctly. She gave the closing speech in the event. Her proficiency in event management and anchoring is
commendable. The students in her guidance get to learn a lot of things from her. Her efforts were also praised by the guest speaker after the event.
