Team Indigo GGITS

This competition was organized under two subcategories - Story Writing and Article Writing. The contest was created using Google Forms. More than 100 students participated from GGITS and GGCT 1 st year all branches. After given a submission period of one week, top 10 winners in both categories were announced. The achievement certificates have been provided to the winners and their prizes have been distributed in our physical live events. This was our first event under a non-technical theme and artistic subject.

This was a unique informational, motivational and self-help webinar by guest speaker Mr. Pankaj Rai. Also, He has previously been a guest speaker at Gyan Ganga in Freshers Inductiom Program 2019. The session was attended by 100+ students and was a very energizing and refreshing one. A lot of queries from students were answered by the guest speaker as he a psychologist and NLP practitioner. The online event was covered by various Instagram pages.  

This was the first college event for the freshers’ batch 2020. We conducted an online educational quiz competition named “Indigo Quest” on MS Teams platforms. More than 180 students from 1 st year GGITS and GGCT participated. The top 14 winners were declared on the next day at the Virtual Induction Session. All the participants were awarded certificates and the winners were awarded with special certificate, momento and some more swags and benefits. The Virtual Induction Session basically aimed at making the 1 st year students aware of the learning academies, course pathways, placement scenario and records, students clubs and societies of the college as well as for the interaction with the department professors, faculties and successful seniors. The session was joined by more than 350 students and was a really amazing one as per the attendees’ feedback.

This online live event was affiliated and acclaimed by Deeplearning.AI as we applied for the student ambassadorship of the same. The theme of the session was - "Breaking into AI" and the speaker was Mr. Muditya Raghav. The event was joined by 100+ students (including 20- 25 from other colleges) on Google Meets platform. We are now Deeplearning.AI ambassadors for Jabalpur city.

This series of webinars was conducted during the COVID-19 Lockdown period. This event included technical webinars focusing on college placement preparation. Total 3 sessions (in 3 weeks) were conducted in the series which involved 5 eminent speakers who are successfully placed in various companies and they guided and mentored the students in this event. The topics discussed were:  → how to build strong IT skills, how to start and learn programming, useful online certifications, what is competitive coding etc.  → their placement journey in Gyan Ganga and vital guidance, information and tips on how to grab a very good placement.  Our speakers for the event were -  Mr. Vishal Kumar - Network Consulting Engineer at Cisco  Mr. Gaurav Sukhatme - Network Consulting Engineer at Cisco  Mr. Shashank Jain - Network Consulting Engineer at Cisco  Mr. Yuvraj Jain - CSA at Amazon (AWS)  Mr. Sudhanshu Vishodia - Data and AI consultant at Microsoft  All the above speakers are the ex-students of GGITS.
