Indigo Quest Quiz Competition and Virtual Induction Session - 2020

This was the first college event for the freshers’ batch 2020. We conducted an online educational quiz competition named “Indigo Quest” on MS Teams platforms. More than 180 students from 1st year GGITS and GGCT participated. The top 14 winners were declared on the next day at the Virtual Induction Session. All the participants were awarded certificates and the winners were awarded with special certificate, momento and some more swags and benefits. The Virtual Induction Session basically aimed at making the 1st year students aware of the learning academies, course pathways, placement scenario and records, students clubs and societies of the college as well as for the interaction with the department professors, faculties and successful seniors. The session was joined by more than 350 students and was a really amazing one as per the attendees’ feedback.

Indigo Triwizard Creative Writing Contest

This competition was organized under two subcategories - Story Writing and Article Writing. The contest was created using Google Forms. More than 100 students participated from GGITS and GGCT 1 st year all branches. After given a submission period of one week, top 10 winners in both categories were announced. The achievement certificates have been provided to the winners and their prizes have been distributed in our physical live events. This was our first event under a non-technical theme and artistic subject.

Pie & AI Event by Deeplearning.AI – “Breaking into AI”

This online live event was affiliated and acclaimed by Deeplearning.AI as we applied for the student ambassadorship of the same. The theme of the session was - "Breaking into AI" and the speaker was Mr. Muditya Raghav. The event was joined by 100+ students (including 20- 25 from other colleges) on Google Meets platform. We are now Deeplearning.AI ambassadors for Jabalpur city.
